Ok - so today I get to go for a mammogram of the left side - even though the MRI was supposedly "good" now the radiologist at the Breast Center wants to double check "areas" he saw on the MRI scan.
Basically he labels them as benign spots - but will recheck in 6 months with another MRI just to make sure! Extra cautious now.
In the meantime - as I walked into the waiting room - I met a darling young 22 year old woman who was my angel for today. She was having her first ultra sound for a lump - no mammograms yet because she is too young. Her grandmother took the DES hormone and had breast cancer - and her dad is very ill and cannot walk. She had beautiful blue eyes - and I just talked to her and she talked to me - we both had positive thoughts for each other . . .she left before I did - and I wished her well - she asked me about what I was doing there -and I told her.... I had a bad booby - but it would get taken care of this week!
